Patty Burdick

Retired Partner/ASID, Allied Member

Born and raised in Southern California as part of a large family, Patty’s early influences are not typical for an interior designer of her accomplished resume.  Patty was an Education major at the University of Arizona, and after many exciting years traveling the Country with her husband George, who was at the time a military physician, they eventually settled in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with their family.  Here, her early Southern California influences and love of Spanish Colonial revival architecture led her to a degree in interior design and an internship with Wiseman and Gale Interiors.  That internship was the beginning of a lifelong friendship and collaboration with Company founder Anne Gale.

Affectionately known by many as “the little general” for her commanding yet pleasant manner, and her small frame, Patty is now a Partner and Co-Owner of Wiseman and Gale, and works on major residential interior design projects in Arizona and around the Country.  She has appeared in many publications, including Traditional Home, DÉCOR, and Phoenix Home & Garden.  Additionally, in 2003, Phoenix Home & Garden honored Patty as their “Master of the Southwest.”
