Wiseman & Gale Interiors was founded forty five years ago, and is an Arizona benchmark for luxury residential design – refined, understated, and original.  The firm includes 9 highly trained professional interior designers that each possess an extensive knowledge of the unique elements found in the desert – an understanding crucial to creating a home that exists in harmony with its’ surroundings.

The Company’s reputation was first established by founders, George Wiseman, and Anne Gale.  He migrated to Arizona from California, and she from New Mexico in 1959, with her husband Tom Gale.  In 1965, they opened their Scottsdale design studio in a location just 100 yards from the current address.  Anne Gale, who retired in 2002, is known as the “granddame” of Southwest luxury design.  She helped to develop Wiseman & Gale’s eclectic trademark – a sophisticated mix of uncommon product and materials carefully assembled to create bold one-of-a-kind interiors.

Since 2002, Wiseman & Gale has been led by a partnership of four friends, Patty Burdick, Sue Calvin, Jana Parker Lee, and Scott Burdick – who manages the business and design showroom.  Patty, Sue, and Jana, each have more than 25 years of experience working at Wiseman & Gale.  Scott has an MBA from Thunderbird, and worked in management consulting before joining the firm in 2002.  Over the years, the Company has grown significantly from its’ traditional Southwestern roots, and is now also known for executing large residential projects in various styles for clients around the Country and Internationally.  Additionally, from time to time, we are asked to consult on specialty commercial projects, such as model homes, country club interiors, and hotel and restaurant concepts.
