Gwen Connor

Designer/ASID, Allied Member

As a native Phoenician who has also briefly resided in both New York and Southern California, Gwen’s influences are diverse and eclectic yet classic and timeless.  She graduated from both Arizona State University in Fashion Merchandising and, most recently, Scottsdale Community College in Interior Design.  Upon graduating SCC in 2011, Gwen began interning at Wiseman & Gale under Sue Calvin, “Master of the Southwest” and Partner at Wiseman & Gale, and has been part of the Wiseman & Gale team ever since.

Regarding taste and style, Gwen is indiscriminate as she is drawn to elements that are modern, traditional, and especially, a mixture of both, while incorporating refined antique elements that are unique.  Her primary goal in a design project is to create a home that not only functions, but also clearly reflects her clients and their tastes.

Although most of her life living primarily in Phoenix and being involved in organizations such as the Board of Visitors, National Charity League, and Columbine Garden Club, Gwen has enjoyed spending time at her second home in the Northern Arizona mountains with her family.  And, now that her three daughters have flown the coop, she, her husband, and their furry children (long coat German Shepherds), are making Flagstaff their primary residence.  While living in Northern Arizona, Gwen is following her passion for designing mountain homes, both vacation retreats and primary residences, and remains part of the Wiseman & Gale design team.
